“C Connection”, 32" x 32", oil on linen, 2002. Since 1998 I've been making pencil
studies using compasses to choreograph a network of circular forms. These originally
were based on a sine wave, or ‘s’ curve and play with an interest in centrifugal/centripetal
forces, in edges that set up tension as well as flow. Color then fleshes out these
